Quality of life measures in pediatric cardiology

Az utóbbi néhány évtizedben ugrásszerű fejlődést mutató gyermek-szívsebészeti, illetve -kardiológiai ellátás területén napjainkban joggal merül fel az igény a kezelés eredményességének betegszempontú elemzésére. Az életminőség-mérésekkel kapcsolatos szakmai elvárások, illetve azok felhasználási lehetőségei gyakran ismeretlenek a gyakorló orvosok számára. A gyermekkori mérések számos nehézsége, a korrekt vizsgálatok alacsonyabb száma miatt ez különösen igaz a gyermekgyógyászat területére.
Cél:
A gyermekkardiológia területén zajló életminőség-mérésekkel szemben támasztott alapvető szakmai elvárások és az eddigi vizsgálatok eredményeinek klinikai szempontú ismertetése.
Módszer:
Irodalmi áttekintés felnőtt-, illetve gyermekkorú, szívfejlődési rendellenességgel született vegyes populációs és speciális betegcsoportok körében végzett életminőség-mérésekről, a vizsgálatok fő eredményeinek és alapvető módszertani jellemzőinek bemutatásával.
Következtetés:
Az eddigi vizsgálatok eredményei szerint az életminőség-méréseknek helye van a gyermekkardiológiai ellátásban. Megfelelően kivitelezett mérésekkel a gondozás színvonala javítható.
