Program Cash For Work (CFW) Sebagai Upaya Pemerintah dalam Mitigasi Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Pada Kelurahan Kebonsari Wetan Kecamatan Kanigaran Kota Probolinggo)

The issue of layoffs is currently an important issue in the employment sector, marked by a significant increase in the unemployment rate due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Various strategies and policies were issued by the Indonesian government to push back the pace of the community's economy through the cash for work program launched by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The form of mitigation carried out between natural and non-natural disasters is certainly different, seeing the phenomena that are happening, the Indonesian government should take mitigation efforts. This paper intends to examine the effectiveness of the cash for work program during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Kebonsari Wetan Village, Kanigaran District, Probolinggo City, which is one of the villages that has the opportunity to implement the cash for work program. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The selection of informants was chosen deliberately who was considered to understand the matter to be studied, took data from sources that were considered relevant according to the problems and themes raised, so as to produce reliable data and determine the accuracy of the research results. Based on the results of interviews and field studies, it was found that the implementation of the cash for work program during the covid-19 pandemic in Kebonsari Wetan Village had carried out activities and implemented principles in accordance with standard operating procedures (POS) and the cash for work program in infrastructure activities was running effectively. and easy to do by reviewing effectiveness according to Sutrisno (in Wulandari 2018:6) namely program understanding, timeliness, target accuracy, goal achievement and real change
