Individual archive 217 emanates from Alfred Davidsson (1847-1930). Born in Lköpping as the son of the co-founder Nils Davidsson and Britta Christina Svensdotter. The father was born in Gammalkil and moved to Lköpping from Stockholm in 1835. The mother was fertile from Rystad and moved to the city in 1831. They married in 1838. The family lived for most of their lives in the courtyard of St Kors 57.
Alfred Davidsson came to walk in the father’s footsteps and become a forge master himself. He died as unmarried and childless in 1930.
The archive includes 23 pieces of photographs, mainly portraits of studio.
