The hodiernal past domain and the concept of recentness in Yeyi

L'article traite du fonctionnement et du sémantisme des temps passe du verbe en yeyi (R41). Plus precisement, il examine le fait qu'en yeyi, les temps passes s'ordonnent et interagissent par rapport à un point de reference qui est situe un cycle diurne/nocturne complet avant le temps du discours. Sur base d'analyses de textes détaillées, l'article montre que ce point de référence temporel résulte de l'interaction de deux concepts : le caractère hodierne de l'évènement et son caractère récent. Les aspects temporels du yeyi sont présentés selon le schéma cognitif élabore par Botne et Kershner (2006) pour organiser les systèmes de temps.
