when imre kocsis showed at frankfurter kunstverein klaus staudt and jörg strürzebecher contributed to the catalogue: an artist and a close friend of edition & galerie hoffmann's. the works which are presented here as available are not site sensitive as elaborated on in jörg strürzebecher's text below. yet, similar to elements in an installation, kocsis's diptychs do dependent, not on a space, but on one another. excerpts from the exhibition catalogue give access to kocsis's approach.
