Peter Brooks and the Interdisciplinary Humanities
View through CrossRef
Sarah Winter’s chapter describes in detail the interdisciplinary projects at Yale that Peter Brooks outlines in the previous chapter (Chapter 15, ‘Intellectual Trajectory’). In particular, Winter explains the thinking behind the Yale Journal of Criticism, of which she was one of the founding Editors, and its links to the Whitney Humanities Center, of which Brooks was then director. The chapter also considers Brooks’s recent publications as exemplary crossover, public-facing humanities work.
