A tribute to Arkady Vasilyevich Sokolov: Presentation of the “Scientific and technical Libraries” journal, issue 2

The author presents the issue 2, 2024, of the “Scientific and technical libraries” journal. The issue is devoted to the memory of Arkady V. Sokolov, the classic of our bibliosphere, library science and practice, library philosopher, culturologist, founder of library futurology and bibliologos. The St. Petersburg “Bibliotechnoye delo” journal was the first to react to the passing of Sokolov, with the memorial issue editorial by Sergey Basov. The full list of contents and authors of the issue 2 of the “Scientific and technical libraries” journal is given. The selected photos of A. Sokolov’s participating in the RNPLS&T’s conferences (“Crimea”, LIBCOM, and BiblioPiter) from the author’s archive are included.
