Boett and dial of silver, works with spindle and percussion. Decor engraved and in broken pattern. Ground shell strongly convex, on this in the middle a smooth field, in the middle of which a leaf rosette, around the edge a stretcher, going in symmetrical angles and bends in four departments, at each side between two of these a mussel. In the field at the left edge a hole for the barrel. Calling the outer edge a broken wide stretcher with in strong arches and spirals about each other strap and acanthus leaf loops, among these on either side a bird, standing on a horizontal band; at the top and bottom of a derelict field, in the lower left a building under a saddle roof, on the right a wall, a tree and a house gable, all in the frame of a narrow band towards the bottom in mountain patterns; in the upper a cherub head, below this a chub head Calling the upper edge a stretcher of cross facing leaves. Glass frame smooth, with strong convex glass and with the charner at the upper edge, at the opposite a nail attachment. Bust arcuate, with flat inside and rounded outside, at each end a ciselated blade. The jaw bracket is a cylindrical tube, in which a sliding circular pole, on the upper end of a round flat knob with a slightly rounded upper side, on which a ciselated multi-flashed leaf bow is attached; the post is joined by the percussion. The dial with Roman hourly and Arabian minute figures, which are read from the inside, the former to the bottom of the punctured, and a diluted rhombic box, the latter figures given for each hourly digit and engraved in smooth fields, between these a similar bottom; between the figures a smooth ring with minute strokes, the one at each hourly digit in the form of an arrowhead, the one at each quarter with a leaf on each side of the streak. Within the hourly number ring towards the bottom of the pound down a symmetrical leaf ornament, at the top of a contoured field, engraved: London. Shower two, of steel, blue; hourly rotor with lanceolate tip, running between two annular ornaments; the minute hand at the base with an elongated swelling and rounded upper side. Ring the edge of the board a cross striated stretcher in brass. Action with round oroklove of gilded brass, broken through, with each other in arches and loops walking symmetrical leaf loops, in the middle a small round bow, on one edge of the clown a broken ornament, attached by a screw of iron. Ruckartavla of brass, on this engraved number 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60, in a division of dashes. Percussion striking full hours and blocks, when the rod in the building bracket was pushed in. The sound is induced by two seated steel hammers on the edge of the work, which strike a bowl of bell metal in the bottom shell, attached by a blue screw. The work on the same scharner as the glass frame, at the opposite edge originally a spring hook (which is missing).

On the bottom shell in the middle a scene, depicting Venus on the sea. The goddess sitting in her char, pulled to the left by two swans, with high set hair and folded robe, the right hand holding a bow over the head swelling sun sail with the pointed end attached to the back end of the char; on the left a hovering putto, bearing one with flowers filled the horn of obesity. Calling the outer edge a wide stretcher of a broken braid pattern and four brushed oval fields, in the first (left of the scharner) to the left a tree, in the middle a man, to the right a two-tower strut; in the second a strut, going to the right, behind a palm and a pyramid; in the third a two-tower fortress and lying on hilly high ground, in the foreground a left-handed man with a rod in his hands; in the fourth, one to the right g
Glass frame in decor similar to that on the stretcher around the bottom shell, the saved fields lying in the middle over the freshly described, in the same order: landscape, on the left a church, in the middle a tree; a bird, facing right; a church; a bird, facing left. Calling the upper edge of the bottom shell and the lower edge of the glass frame a protruding profiled strip, which moldings together form a sharply bought back. The Scharner at the left edge, at the opposite a spring hook with one through the bottom shell springing pressure knob, on the glass frame a knoppy nail attachment. Inside the bottom shell in the middle a round red silk patch (urbleached) and around the edge an uncoloured fine mesh.
