UR (pocket watch, p. remontoirur) with a case Boett and a deck of gold, dial of enamel, work with anchor (so-called semi-chronometer). The bouquet with a lid on each side, flat, with a blunt angle deflected profiled edge, a striated rod. On the lid engraved, on the front von Hallwylska crest in contoured shield, held by two lions, standing on the band, and under the crown with nine bullets and helmet with helmet ornament; on the back lid initials in monogram under the crown as the aforementioned. Both lids with the charner at the lower edge, at the opposite on the rear lid a nail attachment. Between the lids a smooth rod-shaped ring. Bygel lying oval, circular. The bracket is made up of a lying oblong bud on a short neck with the jumper moving in the bud, on the upper side of it a rippled flat round bud (p. k. mission crown). The crown is used to set the sages with. Dial white with black Roman hour and Arabic minute figures. Viewer three, of gold. Inner deck smooth, with rounded outer edge. Action of white metal. Weight 113.1 g D 5.2 cm Swiss work, Aarau, from the later half of the 1870s. Etui: Of a jakaranda, polished. Rectangular, with a flat trap cap and rounded corners and edges; on the centre of the lid a rectangular slice of mother-of-pearl with turned corners; lining of maroon velvet and reddish-brown silk (atlas). On the front pressure clasp of brass. H 3.1 L 16 B 10.7 cm. Gift of Walther von Hallwyl, Christmas Eve 1878, from his father-in-law, Wilhelm Heinrich Kempe. Purchased by the latter from the watchmaker David Keller, Aarau, Switzerland.
