В статье, основанной на анализе трактата Уильяма Оккама «Восемь вопросов о папской власти» (Octo quaestiones de potestate pape) — оригинального памятника политической мысли первой половины XIV века, исследуются представления мыслителя о церковной власти, ее миссии и пределах, а также соотношение закона, рабства и свободы как ключевых категорий, определяющих в свете христианского учения и аристотелевской традиции характер папской власти. Ключевые слова: Уильям Оккам; plenitudo potestatis; политическая мысль «Pontifex est Dominus Servorum…»: Church, Law and Liberty in Political Thought of the First Half of the XIVth Century In article, based on analysis of William of Ockham’s «Eight quaestions on the power of the pope» («Octo quaestiones de potestate pape») — the original treatise of political thought of the first half of the XIVth century, the author explores Okham’s ideas of church’ power, its mission and limits, and also correlation of «law», «slavery» and «liberty» as main cathegories, which defines — in light of Christian doctrine and Aristotelian tradition — pope authority’s character.
