Russian Consulate Staff Album in Jerusalem [Photo Album].

A 21 x 32 cm green half-leather album featuring 80 photographs using various techniques, in black and white, of members of the diplomatic and administrative staff who held the Russian Imperial Consulate in Jerusalem, from its opening on September 20, 1858, to the end of the first decade of the 20th century. Under many of the photographs, the album, pencil, Russian, names of the photographs were recorded. This album also included group photographs of consulate personnel in the company of Russian pilgrims and Russian cleravers in Israel, in the company of guests who came from Russia, as well as a large group photograph of the separation from Consul Yakovlev (Кковлев) at the Jerusalem train station, at the end of his post in 1910 (page 21). The album includes a total of 42 pages, of which only 23 are pasted with photographs. The album was found at the National Library in March 1949.
