الخلاصة
منذ إنتهاء الحرب العالمية الثانية, بدأت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تنظر إلى دول الخليج العربية والعراق نتيجة إمتلاكها كميات هائلة من النفط, وذلك بعد أن أخذ النفط الأمريكي بالنضوب بغية إحكام سيطرتها على على نفط هذه الدول فقد إنتهجت مختلف الوسائل, السياسية والعسكرية, في إطار إستراتيجيتها العالمية, حتى إستطاعت تحقيق هذه السيطرة, التي تركزت حول التحكم بالإنتاج والأسعار, لقناعتها أن من يسيطر على النفط يفرض سيطرته على القرار السياسي لدول العالم أجمع.
