With a cinematic sensibility, Nelson casts herself as the protagonist in monochromatic, hyper-vivid jewel tones, lounging and longing in the interior of her apartment. She eats, sleeps, gazes into the mirror, or at a twin self, finding herself both literally and figuratively.
