Electronic commerce in Algeria: current state, obstacles and prospects for its development

The real scientific revolution that the wolrld is witnessing today has contributed to creating a new style of commercial transactions, which are now conducted through a virtual, non-material space called e-commerce, which has emerged as a new style of displaying goods and services and concluding deals electronically between different countries. Algeria is among the countries that have introduced amendments to its laws in order to enter the world of e-commerce. The aim of this research paper is to know the reality of e-commerce in Algeria through a serie of studies that included addressing each of : studying statistics of e-commerce transactions, obstacles to e-commerce in Algeria, in addition to prospects through which the reality of e-commerce can be developed in Algeria.
