CAUSAS Y CONSECUENCIAS DEL INCREMENTO DE LOS DELITOS INFORMÁTICOS EN LA CIUDAD DE PUNO 2023

Problem: The excessive dependence on computer systems in the daily lives of people makes there is a great potential for crime, because of this there is an alarming increase of these computer crimes at international, national and local level, this paper focuses on presenting the reality of computer crimes in the city of Puno. Objective: To describe the reality of computer crimes, as well as to analyze the causes and consequences of the increase of computer crimes in the city of Puno and finally to present some measures that can prevent such crimes. Methodology: Quantitative, explanatory and descriptive research Results: In the city of Puno there is an alarming consecutive growth of computer crimes due to several causes such as misinformation, technological evolution and lack of awareness, but we also consider another cause such as vulnerability in our computer systems due to our precarious computer security and that causes more victims of this type of crime especially in people between 27 to 59 years of age.
