AbstractFreie Zucker lassen sich, gelöst in Dimethylsulfoxyd, durch H‐Ionen‐Katalyse in ein Gemisch von Oligo‐ und Polysacchariden überführen: beschrieben am Beispiel der D‐Glucose. Die Polysaccharide werden von den Oligosacchariden durch Dialyse (Cellophan) befreit und in der Ultrazentrifuge untersucht. Durch totale Hydrolyse wird D‐Glucose zurückgewonnen.
