Reduced dosage frequency and improved localization of the drugs are the objectives of controlled drug delivery systems are impacted. Mini tablets provide improved homogeneity and reduce variability in drug release among subjects, increasing the consistency and predictability of treatment. Some scaled-down tablets are accessible, like bio-adhesive, pH-responsive, purgative, pediatric, and oral deteriorating mini tablets.
