Cantos a la Ama Toa (Madre Tierra) es un libro multidimensional. Nos invita a conectarnos con el poder sensible y emotivo de la naturaleza a través de los poemas del autor y nos recuerda la maravilla visual de los seres que la habitan a través de sus pinturas. Durante muchos meses, el proceso creativo de este libro llevó de la mano a Jaime en un ir y venir entre la palabra y la imagen. La escritura de los poemas naturalmente detonó en Jaime el deseo, a veces tan fuerte, que se convertía en necesidad de pintar. Y a veces el juego de pintar planteaba en él la necesidad de escribir. Este diálogo entre poemas y cuadros nos presenta la posibilidad de recordar, pensar y sentir a la naturaleza cada vez, otra vez, desde un nuevo lugar.
