This chapter focuses on Bruce White's college and career life. Whilst he was not so keen on education in his younger years, White still managed to graduate from Baltimore City Community College at the age of 51. White met Craig Lippens, who then became his mentor in the industry of drug and alcohol treatment. The chapter highlights how White thrived in his job with Gaudenzia, wherein he understand that the job of providing treatment was a product of his personal recovery. It also elaborates on the One Promise treatment business he established in Northeast Baltimore in 2016, referencing as one of the busier drug treatment and counseling centers in Baltimore.
