Experiences with Building Modern Communication-Driven Decision Support

The paper aims to outline the possibility of using an integrated, computer assisted communication platform to improve crisis management processes. The authors draw on a previous paper contributed to the 2012 IFIP conference Fusing Decision Support System into the Fabric of the Context to indicate further evolution paths for crisis management support and to showcase a solution developed over the past two years, along with some of its applications.
