Alan Butler: Deskscapes
View through Artsy
Green On Red Gallery, Dublin is pleased to present ' Alan Butler: Deskscapes '– an online exhibition that showcases an ongoing series of highly conceptual and visually charged large-scale paintings made by the Dublin based Irish artist. In these paintings, Butler combines the hand of the artist with an algorithmic logic that structures a new way of seeing through the process of 'image segmentation', which underscores how software and thus computers 'see' images.
