“LITHUANIAN PROCEEDINGS IN MECHANICS” IN 1967–1994/“LIETUVOS MECHANIKOS RINKINYS” 1967–1994

“Lietuvos mechanikos rinkinio” (LMR) daugiau kaip trisdešimties metų leidybos istorija yra verta apžvalgos, nes ji labai susijusi su visa Lietuvos mechanikos mokslo raida. Net ir tada, kai buvo reikalaujama kiekvienam mokslo darbų rinkiniui teikti teminį pavadinimą (1 lent), LMR serija nenutrūko. Dažniausiai dėl menkų poligrafinių galimybių LMR numeriai išeidavo vėliau negu buvo pažymėta tituliniuose lapuose (2 lent.), tačiau ir su pavėlavimu paskelbtos mokslinės idėjos bei tyrimų rezultatai buvo dėmesingai sutinkami ne tik Iietuvoje. Daugelis Lietuvos mokslininkų buvo nuolatiniai LMR autoriai (3 lent), jie aprėpė įvairias tyrimų šakas (4 lent).
Spausdintas ilgą laiką rusų kalba su lietuvişkomis ir angliškomis santraukomis, 1994 m. anglų kalba išleistas rinkinys (Nr.33) atspindėjo naują lietuvos mokslininkų bendradarbiavimo kryptį. Tačiau Lietuvos mokslo tarybai integravus mokslinių žumalų leidybą, “Lietuvos mechanikos rinkinys” nustojo ėjęs; dabar mechanikos krypties mokslinių tyrimų rezultatai skelbiami žurnaluose “Mechanika” ir “Staiyba”.
