In the context of China's dynamic business landscape, this quantitative study delves into the intricate interplay between Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices and their profound impact on sustainable corporate performance within the country's vibrant Food Industry. As global concerns about environmental degradation intensify, the imperative for sustainable corporate conduct escalates, and GSCM emerges as a pivotal catalyst, nurturing ecological responsibility and operational efficiency. Leveraging advanced statistical methodologies, this research scrutinizes the multifaceted influence of GSCM practices on enduring business excellence, drawing upon an extensive dataset amalgamated from diverse Chinese enterprises spanning various sectors. The investigation encompasses a comprehensive assessment of sustainable performance indicators, encompassing reductions in carbon footprint, minimization of waste, enhancement of operational cost efficiency, and elevation of corporate reputation, juxtaposed with the critical dimensions of GSCM, including green procurement, eco-friendly logistics, reverse logistics, and eco-design. Empirical findings gleaned from this research furnish substantiated insights into the ways in which GSCM techniques can pave the path to sustained corporate performance in China. While shedding light on the GSCM facets wielding the most significant influence, this study also unravels the intricate web of conditions and moderators that may shape this intricate relationship, thereby enriching our understanding of the nuanced dynamics at play. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on sustainable business practices in China's Food Industry and offers actionable insights for industry stakeholders, policymakers, and corporate leaders navigating the intersection of environmental responsibility and enduring profitability.
