Tira and Her Magical Marks Tira lives on a cozy farm, playing with cows, chickens, and sheep. She’s happy and free, until she starts school and notices white patches on her skin. Tira feels different and a little scared. But her mom comforts her and takes her to see Dr. Yanti, a friendly skin doctor. Dr. Yanti explains that Tira has vitiligo and calls her spots magical marks. With a special Wood’s lamp, Tira sees her skin glow like stars! Tira learns that her marks are part of what makes her unique, strong, and beautiful, just the way she is.
