The ground colour is white with a fine woven herring bone pattern, over printed in red and navy blue. The lining is of white twilled silk with a thick interlining, probably of wool. The designers name and initials are printed in black script at each end of the tie. Printed silk, lined with silk and interlined with probably wool.
