A VIDA ACADÊMICA DA PROFESSORA VERA LÚCIA ALVES FRANÇA E OUTRAS HISTÓRIAS (THE ACADEMIC LIFE OF PROFESSOR VERA LÚCIA ALVES FRANÇA AND OTHER STORIES)

RESUMO:Apresentamos aqui parte da trajetória acadêmica da Profa. Dra. Vera Lúcia Alves França na Universidade Federal de Sergipe. São muitas as histórias a serem contadas, mas, aqui, selecionamos aquelas que, do olhar dos autores, podem contribuir para que os leitores conheçam um tanto mais sobre Profa. Vera França. A opção por trazer as atividades acadêmicas mescladas com questões do cotidiano pautou-se no desejo de demonstrar o quanto a vida acadêmica de Profa. Vera confundiu-se com o seu dia a dia, com o seu ser no mundo. Trouxemos as lembranças da memória e do coração. Lembranças dos textos escritos, falados e sentidos, presentes na fala de algumas das pessoas que tiveram a honra de interagirem com ela, dentro e fora do ambiente acadêmico. Aqui também constam algumas informações colhidas quando da entrevista com a Profa. Vera França em novembro de 2018, bem como outras que foram colhidas em seu currículo lattes. A opção pela narrativa informal livre tem o propósito de oferecer espaço para que as emoções tenham livre campo de expressão. A Profa. Vera França é figura exemplar não só no meio acadêmico-científico de Sergipe como também referência na vida de seus alunos e alunas, amigos e familiares.Palavras-chave: Vera Lúcia Alves França; Geografia de Sergipe; Professora Inspiradora. ABSTRACT:We present here part of the academic journey of Professor Vera Lúcia Alves França, Ph.D at the Federal University of Sergipe, Brazil. There are many stories to be told, but here we select those that, from the authors' perspective, can help readers know more about her. The option to bring the academic activities mingled with daily issues was based on the desire to demonstrate how much her academic life was confused with her day to day life, with her being in the world. We have brought remembrances from our memories and hearts. Memories of written, spoken and felt texts, present in the speech of some the people who had the honor to interact with her, inside and outside the academic environment. Here is also some information collected during tan interview with Professor França in November 2018, as well as others that were gathered in her Curriculum Lattes (Brazilian data basis for academic curricula). The option for performing a free and informal narrative is intended to provide space for free expression of emotions.
