A Collection of Kabbalistic Works from the Unpublished Manuscripts of Rabbi Moses Hayim Luzzatto: MS Oxford 2593

View through CrossRef
This chapter introduces MS Oxford 2593, which was described in the Neubauer's catalogue as a collection of unidentified kabbalistic writings by anonymous authors. It presents surveys and explanatory comments to link the kabbalistic writings compiled in MS Oxford 2593 with other writings in the corpus of Rabbi Moses Hayim Luzzatto's works. It also reveals sentiments on Luzzatto's handwriting, which displays many pronounced differences in the form of the letters and pen strokes. The chapter discusses the tikun of the Shekhinah and her elevation to her mystical union and perfect yihud up to the level of Ein Sof, which run through all the homilies in MS Oxford 2593. It examines the messianic eschatological bent, that incldues the trinity of redeemers in the shape of Moses and the two Messiahs.
