Permaculture: Model Pertanian Berkelanjutan

The Community Service activity with the topic of Permaculture was carried out in Ciburuy Village Padalarang District . Based on the observations, it was found that basically Ciburuy Village has great potential in the agricultural sector which can be developed into a model of sustainable agriculture. One of the farmer groups in Ciburuy Village is the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Rereongan. The Women Farmers Group consists of 20 housewives. There are basic problems in agricultural cultivation activities in Ciburuy village, namely conventional and unsustainable farming techniques. The use of synthetic chemical fertilizers and cropping patterns that are not in harmony with nature are the two problems encountered. Meanwhile,in the Cibury Village implement sustainable agriculture with a permaculture approach, namely the Hanif Regenerative Garden. This Hanif Garden implements a permaculture farming system or sustainable agriculture where every sector from agriculture, fisheries, and animal husbandry has a mutually sustainable role. The solution to the problem of cropping patterns and the use of synthetic fertilizers is to apply permaculture agricultural cultivation. Permaculture systems can ensure natural cycles take place as they are.
