Would you pull the tubes The life-giving tubes? The "magic" of medicine?
Do we not wait with Hope that the magic of our gift will infuse Life?
Is not our craft God-given. Are we not frustrated that the tubes and wires do not always Fulfill our Hopes.
We could hover and circle and watch like manacled prisoners, but not like vultures.
Vultures await Death. Physicians anticipate Life. We do not profit from death as vultures do.
