The scientific publication of the “Russkoye Bogatstvo” (Russian Wealth) editorial archive for 1890–1903 allows to fully present the fate of the famous magazine in changing historical conditions, to clarify the facts of literary and sociopolitical history of this period, the magazine’s authors circle, the relationship between the editorial office and authors, the editorial office and censorship, authors and censorship. The volume contains a large corpus of epistolary documents, accompanied by a scientific commentary that restores the historical, literary and socio-political context of the facts described in these documents. The editorial board members’ correspondence between themselves and with the authors of the magazine reflects the socio-political life of Russia and Europe, disputes about emerging literary trends and the work of populist factions and land committees.
