The development of criminology in the conditions of globalization and the growth of social conflicts, forced to look for effective methods of resolving complex criminological problems, including the perpetrator's identity. Without applying the most effective methodological tool in the process of investigating the identity of the perpetrator, it is impossible to determine determinants of criminality, and, accordingly, to find effective countering measures to it. In this regard, the crucial importance in this matter has a methodological tool by which research is carried out the identity of the perpetrator in criminology. The problem of effective research on the identity of the perpetrator is a key feature in criminology. The solution to this problem is a necessary condition combating criminality in our country.
The lack of effective countermeasures against criminality contributed to the search for the theory of social naturalism in criminology. With this theory, it is possible to successfully solve the current problems of modern criminology, including those related to the identity of the perpetrator. Study of the identity of the perpetrator using the method of social naturalism significantly increases the scientific value and practical implementation of countermeasures criminality.
The problem of the identity of the perpetrator remains the main point for criminology science, as the solution to the fundamental problems of crime depends on the study of this complex social phenomenon.
The conducted study opens promising methodological possibilities, which may contribute to achieving successful results in the investigation of the identity of the perpetrator.
In the current researching work, the author shows promising methodological possibilities, which may contribute to achieving the greatest advances in the study of the identity of the perpetrator. Nowadays, the theory of social naturalism is a progressive criminological theory that clearly explains the individual's path to criminally illegal behavior.
Further, knowledge and ability to apply in its work an effective methodological base when investigating the identity of the perpetrator, may help theorists and practitioners to more fully reveal the mechanism of criminal behavior, to identify the real determinants of criminally illegal actions of a person and on its basis qualitatively determine measures to prevent such behavior.
The obtained scientific results can be used as the basis for further scientific studies to improve problems of anti-criminal policy and practice of countering criminality in Ukraine.
Understanding the identity of the perpetrator, which is revealed in this study opens up new opportunities, a more successful impact on the behavior of persons committing criminal offenses. Since determines that the core of the criminal's personality is a complex of arbitrariness and illusions. The elimination of this will contribute to increasing the efficiency in the field of prevention criminality.
Thus, research on arbitrariness and illusions of the criminal shall be the basis for the study the mechanism of criminal behavior, as well as for the development of countermeasures thereof. Presently, it is based on the methodology of social naturalism by which it is possible to learn the regularities of the formation of will and consciousness, which manifests itself in the form of criminal behavior. Social- naturalistic approach to the study of the personality of the perpetrator gives subjects the ability to respond adequately: to develop countermeasures and respond to criminality in general. In the complex, all this contributes implementation of crime control.
In recent years, criminology using socio-naturalistic doctrine explores problems of different categories of criminals in a new way. This highlights the fact that research on the identity of the perpetrator from the standpoint of social-naturalistic criminology (criminology based on the principle of social naturalism) gives the ability to adequately solve problems that arise in the field countering criminality and thereby ensuring law and order and social progress in Ukraine.
If modern criminology in the knowledge of crime is guided by the principle of social naturalism, then this will make it possible to gain new knowledge on the identity of the perpetrator and lead to increase success in countering criminality.
