Design of Miniaturized SIW and CSIW (Corrugated SIW) Bandpass Filter Using Form E Interdigital

Abstract In this paper, we are going to study 3rd order bandpass filter using the topology with Substrate Integrated Waveguide ( SIW) and CSIW (Corrugated SIW) based on new resonator in the form of "interdigity" using Chebyshev approximation ,It is a continuation of the research published in[1], The simulated results of the filter SIW based on new resonator in the form of "interdigity", which provides a return loss coefficient of less than − 25.27 dB for a passband of 3.57 GHz at a center frequency equal to 8.8 GHz. but regarding the filter using the topology with CSIW (Corrugated SIW) the results show that a simulated return loss of -23.3612 dB within bandwidth around 3.47 GHz at the 8.75 GHz frequency. the filters were designed on a Duroïd substrate (thickness = 0.508, εr = 2.2, tan (δ) = 0.0009 ).
