Department of Prints Michael Wentworth Collector. Wentworth was a scholar of James J. Tissot and French and English 19th c. printmaking more generally. He was Art Curator at the Boston Athenaeum at the time of his death in 2002 but he had sold many of the prints in his personal collection prior to his death.
