A pintura O Incêndio de Tróia, com a figura de Eneias salvando o seu pai Anquises e fugindo da batalha, executada pelo pintor Diogo Pereira, é uma das mais interessantes peças artísticas da colecção de arte da Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. É devida a um pintor português que trabalhou desde cerca de 1630 a 1658, data do seu falecimento, e se especializou em cenas de catástrofes, incêndios e tragédias, incluindo muitas representações congéneres com o tema de Tróia abrasada. Esse tema era muito popular nos círculos da Restauração portuguesa porque simbolizava o heroísmo e a abnegação de D. João IV, restaurador da independência nacional e considerado uma espécie de novo Eneias.
