Figurine in printed colour of a dress by designer Alma Aguilar. \Alma Aguilar (Madrid, 1976) is a Spanish designer who, after finishing her design studies at the Escuela Superior de Técnicas Industriales, began to train in workshops of designers such as Devota & Lomba. At the age of 23 she created her own brand and presented her first ready-to-wear collection. Salma Hayek helped him to give prestige to his designs by wearing one of his dresses to present the Oscars gala. In 1999 he opened his first shop. In 2001 she debuts in Cibeles with her seventh collection, being the youngest participant, and where she will parade until 2011. In May 2003 her daughter Allegra was born, motivation to create 'Mini', her children's line. In 2004 she participated in the New York Fashion Week. That same year she joined the Spanish Association of Fashion Creators (ACME). In 2005 the 'Museo del Traje' presents a retrospective of his career. In 2007 he exhibited one of his creations at the Spanish Institute in New York. In May 2012 he closed his shop in Madrid and since 2013 his creations are sold through his online store. He is among the 50 most important young designers on the world scene today, according to the publishing house Taschen.
