Jovan Rašković, Srbin poreklom iz Knina, stanovnik Šibenika ali i sveta, momački stasao u vreme ustaškog genocida nad srpskim narodom tokom Drugog svetskog rata, sin advokata, begunac ispred noža, lekar, profesor univerziteta i akademik, vrstan zna¬lac ljudske duše, čovek koji je bio slobodan i u boljševičkoj neslobodi, plećati Krajišnik, krupnook, sa bradom masivnom i prosedom, pojavio se u vremenu ponovnog nesna, mraka i straha, u vremenu raspada neugaslih želja, onako kako su se javljale, davno nekada, biblijske mesije, da sačuvaju narod oda zla i da ga povedu put spasenja.
