In this article the attempt to define concept borders «onomastics of religion» becomes. The onomastics of religion in general in particular it is very different. According to the author of article, the analyzed names can be divided into actually religious and not actually religious. In article the analysis only of some theme groups of actually onomastics of religion of Orenburg region is given.
