7 Text and Contexts—Hermeneutical Reflections on Receptive Ecumenism

View through CrossRef
Abstract This chapter focuses on the hermeneutical implications of Receptive Ecumenism, through the study of what leads to the rise of theological differences and of what happens when different theological traditions meet. It provides some hints about how to understand and live true reception, from both theoretical and practical points of view, and indicates why academic theology tout court has a lot to benefit from the development of ecumenical hermeneutics.
