Leistenschwellung und Knöchelödem nach Inguinal-hernien-OP

Bei einer schnell wachsenden inguinalen Raumforderung haben wir die Diagnose eines aggressiven Non-Hodgkin-Lymphoms (diffus grosszelliges B-Zell-Lymphom) gestellt. Nach einer inguinalen Lymphknotenbiopsie stellt sich erfahrungsgemäss nur etwa ein Drittel als malignes Lymphom heraus, gerade dann ist jedoch die ausreichende Gewebegewinnung entscheidend für die exakte Diagnose und die daraus resultierende Therapie. Mit dem IPI-Score kann eine prognostische Schätzung zum Überleben gegeben werden. Obwohl es sich um einen aggressiven Tumor handelt, konnte die Heilungsrate mit Einführung des R-CHOP-Schemas im Jahre 2002 auf über 50% verbessert werden.
