Clinical and psychological research of somatoform disorders

The article presents the results of a clinical and psychological study of a group of inpatients with somatoform disorders. Characteristics of syndromes and nosology of mental disorders in the studied patients, analysis of the leading etiological factors of their diseases, and personal and psychological characteristics of the patients themselves are given. Some aspects of the pathogenesis of somatoform disorders, as well as issue of their nosology, are discussed.
