An Introduction To Sequential Ode Methods

View through CrossRef
Abstract Since this monograph is concerned with an exposition of efficient methods for the numerical solution of systems of differential equations in a parallel computing environment, it is necessary to have a thorough insight into extant sequential methods. There is no space in this monograph to give a comprehensive discussion on all aspects of sequential algorithms for IVPs, rather, this monograph will attempt to give a flavour of this work and will emphasize techniques which have relevance to the development of parallel algorithms.
