This work’s main focus is to present an alternative shoring system and compare it to conventional methods. What sets it apart is the agility and more efficient reuse of its parts, speeding up the stages of concreting slabs. The work presents this alternative, due to an increasing demand for shoring services. And with that, came the need to create methods to optimize the shoring service when making slabs. Companies have been developing new systems over time, seeking to find more economical and more sustainable solutions. Initially, the study presents an introduction to solid and ribbed slabs, showing their characteristics, citing their advantages and disadvantages. After that, the study covers the types of shoring and materials most used on the market, comparing them with the aim of showing their advantages and disadvantages. After talking about all this, the alternative method that is the focus of the work is presented, showing its main characteristics, how it is assembled and disassembled and why it is superior to conventional methods in making slabs.
