This chapter describes the murder of Jews at train stations, when people on trains from Kielce spread the rumor that Kielce Jews were murdering Polish children. The main instigators of these crimes were railwaymen. They shouted, “Beat the Jews,” “away with the Jews” the most, and they searched for Jews in the train cars, dragging them out onto the platform. They took their money, baggage, watches, and active and demobilized military men beat them with stones and shot them to the shouts and applause of crazed passengers. The chapter details the murders that happened at Piekoszów station, the Kielce-Herby station, the Górki Szczukowskie station, and the Koniecpol station.
