The item is a proof from Archaeological Journal (see Bibliography).The engraving shows a piece of Byzantine textile with an Arabic inscription from the tomb of a bishop of Bayonne, dated c1200, and a piece of textile from the tomb of Henry VI, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Sicily, who died in 1197 and was buried in Palermo.
