Mario Giacomelli: Paessagio and Pretini

One of the foremost Italian photographers of the 20th century, Mario Giacomelli (1925–2000) Robert Klein Gallery is pleased to present a selection of signed gelatin prints featuring two of Giacomelli’s most riveting subjects: “Pretini” (1961–63), young priests from the seminary of Senigallia, and “Metamorphosis of the Land” (1958–80), expressive landscapes from the Italian countryside where Giacomelli lived.
