DOCTOR ISMAIL HAKKI MİLASLI'S LIFE AND WORKS

History of science is a discipline that deals with the story of the birth and development of science. Many scientists have contributed to this discipline based on birth and development at different rates from the past to the present. This contribution belongs to all humanity and needs to be researched and analysed by each nation in the national and international community in its heritage context. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Milaslı, who started his life in Milas and ended his life in Ankara, has packed numereous books, conference texts, newspaper articles, articles and letters into his long life. According to the current literature, this legacy includes 20 books, five conference texts, three speeches, 52 articles and one letter. These writings cover medicine, language, religion, politics, ethics, etc. As the ecosystem of Dr İsmail Hakkı Milaslı develops, there is no doubt that more publications of the scientific heritage will emerge. Document and content analysis methods, which are qualitative research methods, were used. Although academic studies have been carried out on the lives and works of different Turkish scientists in the literature, it is seen that their narratives, especially in different languages, are limited. The fact that the life and scientific heritage of Dr Ismail Hakkı Milaslı has been published in terms of the latest information esp, especially the history of Turkish science, constitutes the original value of the article. According to the current literature, the article aims to identify the scientific heritage in the fields of medicine, language and religion in the ecosystem of Dr İsmail Hakkı Milaslı. The aim is to create academic awareness and consciousness in the national/international public opinion on the scientific heritage.
