A kiber-utópia és a paradicsom mítosza

Jacques Ellul francia gondolkodó a huszadik század közepének uralkodó propaganda-mítoszait elemezte, ám eredményeit a szerző sikerrel alkalmazza az információs forradalomra is. A jelenhez kapcsolódó ideológia önmagában nem képes az egyének mozgósítására, ehhez az ősi eredetű, vallásos gyökerű mítosz pszichológiai-spirituális erejére is szükség van. A cikk egy sor, Ellul által azonosított mítoszt használ fel (tudomány, történelem, nemzet, munka, boldogság, fiatalság, és a hős) annak bemutatására, hogy a rájuk alapozott fogalmi keret hogyan alkalmazható az információs társadalom jelenkori propagandájának elemzésére és kritikájára.
