The jigsaw type cooperative learning model is a cooperative learning model where students study in small groups consisting of 4-6 people heterogeneously and work together with positive interdependence and are responsible for completing the part of the subject matter that must be studied and conveying the material to group members. another. The aim of this research is to investigate the influence of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on students' communication skills and mutual respect, as well as its impact on learning outcomes for class VII students at SMP 2 Kuripan on respiratory system material. The type used in this research is quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental), data analysis was carried out using hypothesis testing, the average results in the experimental class and control class, the results of the analysis of the calculated t-value were 4,425> t-table value 2,006, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, this shows that there is an influence on student learning outcomes using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes.
