Album Folio of Persian Poetry

The folio features couplets of Persian poetry written diagonally in shikasta script and black ink, on paper enhanced by the decorative technique of marbling. On the verso side, the text block and three-quarters of the outer border are decorated with a combed pattern in red-orange, green, and light brown. The text block has been ruled to create three columns, and additional verses have been written in the inner and outer borders. The recto side also features a text block that has been ruled to create three columns.
