PRIVATIZATION OF FEDERAL PROPERTY: ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

View through CrossRef
The privatization of federal property is a complex process of transferring state property into private hands, which has both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, privatization can improve management efficiency, attract investment, and stimulate economic growth. On the other hand, it can lead to social consequences such as increased inequality and job losses, as well as risks associated with corruption and inefficient resource allocation. The theoretical foundations of privatization cover economic, social, and legal aspects, including theories of efficiency, social capital, and public choice. The key role is played by privatization mechanisms such as auctions and share sales, which should ensure transparency and protection of property rights. Successful privatization requires an integrated approach to minimize risks and achieve sustainable economic development.
